4 mm Corrugated Plastic Material

Corrugated Plastic is a type of sign that has hollow "flutes" in it. The flutes run horizontally on a 4' x 8' sheet (the 96 inch direction).

We print on a 4 mm white corrugated plastic. The signs are digitally printed in full color on a 4 x 8 sheet. There will be a 1/2" white edge around the sign.

4 mm Corrugated Plastic Artwork Specs / File Tips

• Uploaded files must be under 100 MB. 
• No bleeds are necessary
• Set up your artwork proportionate to the exact banner size you are ordering
• Keep text and important images at least 2" away from the edge
• Convert all text to outlines
• Make sure no elements are selected for “Overprint”
• Make sure all blacks are set to a rich black CMYK mix of (100-100-100-100)

Requirements for setting up a 4x8 sheet of signs

• ⅛” bleed (per side)
• ⅛” away from edge of the sheet
• ¼” spacing between signs
• For coroplast, the finished cut size will always in ¼” smaller than listed size. Example: 18” x 24” signs will finish at 17.75” x 23.75”

Files that print best are:

• .eps
• .pdf

**Please note if your artwork contains complex gradients, textures, patterns or you are creating it in a design software, please flatten your artwork to avoid any printing issues**

We can also print 300 dpi or higher resolution files:

• .tif
• .jpg
• .png

We print in four color CMYK or six color CMYKLcLm. Please keep this in mind when submitting files for printing as color tone shifting may happen if file is submitted in RGB format. If there is a specific PMS color you need, please specify that to us when submitting your order so we can help you verify that the proper color mix is used (vector artwork only).

Customer supplied files are printed as they are received so we cannot guarantee color, clarity or final output as we are just printing the supplied files and have not set them up for printing.

All of our printers are calibrated daily to International Color Consortium (ICC) coloring profile standards to ensure accurate color production.

Finishing Options

All Corrugated Plastic Signs are printed on a 4 x 8 sheet. The flutes are on the 8 foot side. Standard Finishing is a 1/2" White Edge around the perimiter of the signs. Full Bleeds, or when the ink goes all the way to the edge of the sign, is also available.

All coroplast signs will be cut an 1/8th of an inch on each side to allow for finishing.

You can print multiple files on the 4' x 8' sheet (example: ten 18" x 24" signs fit on a 4' x 8' sheet)

All Corrugated Plastic Signs offer the option of a glossy UV lamination coating. This coating allows for a glossy finish, richer coloring, and added protection.

Economy Shipping

If choosing economy shipping please add in additional postal information such as P.O. Box in the "Address Two" field on the checkout page to help ensure delivery. 

Using economy shipping can also add an additional 5 - 10 days, depending on where the package is being shipped to. 

Freight Shipping

Some corrugated plastic signs may need to go freight. If you need to go freight, you will need to contact a customer service representative to go over the details. Freight shipments require a loading dock and machines to unload the truck.

4' x 8' Sizing and Info

All Corrugated Plastic Signs will be printed on a 4' x 8' sheet. You can add multiple files to the 4' x 8' sheet (ex: ten 18" x 24" signs fit on a sheet). Individual pieces will be cut to size after they have been printed, but you must specify what sizes you have when you place your order.

Corrugated Plastic Flutes
