Oversized  Wholesale Vinyl Banners are printed on our 13 oz. premium matte scrim vinyl material. 

13 oz. Premium Matte Vinyl Banners can be printed up to 16' x 50' without seams. All banners are digitally printed in full color.

The 13 oz. premium matte vinyl has a 3–5 year life span when used continuously outdoors and a 7–10 year life span when used continuously indoors.

Exact sizes of banners cannot be guaranteed. Vinyl is a temperature sensitive material, and some fluctuation can occur due to heat application in printing, finishing, and outside climate. Please note our acceptable size variance is up to 1/2 inch per linear foot (ex. A 5' banner could finish with a 2.5" variance). If your banner needs to be precise, please ask your Customer Service Representative to discuss your specific application.

Finishing Options

Hems and Grommets

Our wholesale banners are hemmed and grommeted for added durability and for easy hanging. With vinyl materials, this is done using a Miller Weldmaster T100 and/or a Miller Weldmaster CMIT 10'. The T1000 is designed to weld hems, hems with pockets, and overlaps. "Welding" is what occurs when the vinyl reaches a temperature so high that is actually bonds with itself in the machine, which makes the hem more durable and reliable than sewing them. If you're not sure what grommets are, think of them as brass eyelets, about the size of a nickel. They're used when the banner is suspended from something (or somehow going to be hanging up) and hugely reduce the risk of the banner ripping and tearing.

Reinforced Hems

We recommend this for banners going outdoors that are more than 32 square feet, or any banner going in a high-wind environment.

Pole Pockets

By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2" or 3". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.

Pole pockets are the most common finishing option for billboard banners.

Finishing Options

Each banner comes with a variety of finishing options to help you install your banner. 

Hems & Grommets	Reinforced Hems	Reinforced Corners	Pole Pockets
Is a one inch fold, heat welded hem with grommets typically added every 2 -4 feet.	A thick weblike material (similar to what is used in seatbelts) is heat welded to the perimeter of the banner to provide additional reinforcment.	A triangular piece of vinyl is applied to the corners of the banner and secured with grommets to improve both the strength and durability in the corners of the banner.	A pocket or sleve added to the banner to allow for a dowel or pole to run through it for support. When selecting pole pockets there will be no increase in the finished size of the banner.

Pole Pocket Finishing Options

• 2" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 3/4" in diameter
• 3" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/4" in diameter
• 4" Pole Pockets - fits a pole 1 1/2" in diameter

By selecting pole pockets, there will be no increase in the finished size of your banner. Pole pockets can either be 2", 3" or 4". We don't recommend having any text or images within 3 inches of the edge of the banner when you select pole pockets.

**Pole Pockets are not available with reinforced hems or corners. Reinforced corners are not available on banners under 2 feet in height.

2 Sided Banner Finishing

We can finish 2 sided banners up to 150 square feet. For anything larger, please contact us. Double sided banners can only have pole pockets or hems and grommet finishing.

We do not recommend wind slits in banners, therefore we do not offer them. For windy enviroments, we recommend our mesh banner option. For more information check out our mesh banners page.

Oversized Banner Viewing Distances

Oversized banners are intended to be visible from long distances. Consider them to be like billboards that are easily readable from long distances at freeway speeds.That being said, when you view these banners up close or within 10 feet, your banner may appear pixelated or of low quality.

We’ve put together this helpful viewing guide to show you how your banner will look from various distances. Using this guide, you can know what to expect before buying one of these large vinyl banners.

Artwork Specs / File Tips for Wholesale Printing

• Uploaded files must be under 100 MB. 
• No bleeds are necessary
• Set up your artwork proportionate to the exact banner size you are ordering
• Keep text and important images at least 2" away from the edge to prevent the hems or grommets from going through them
• Convert all text to outlines
• Make sure no elements are selected for "Overprint"
• Make sure all blacks are set to a rich black CMYK mix of(100-100-100-100)

Files that print best are:

• .eps
• .pdf

We can also print 300 dpi or higher resolution files:

• .tif
• .jpg
• .png

We print in four color CMYK or six color CMYKLcLm. Please keep this in mind when submitting files for printing as color tone shifting may happen if file is submitted in RGB format. If there is a specific PMS color you need, please specify that to us when submitting your order so we can help you verify that the proper color mix is used (vector artwork only).

Customer supplied files are printed as they are received so we cannot guarantee color, clarity or final output as we are just printing the supplied files and have not set them up for printing.

All of our wholesale printers are calibrated daily to International Color Consortium (ICC) coloring profile standards to ensure accurate color production.
