DPS - Shipping Out of State, How to Place an Order for Sales Tax Exemption

Most of you as resellers through Digital-Print-Solutions.com (DPS) are tax exempt.  But when you ship to your customer in a state different from your own,  sales tax may appear on the order, because we typically do not have the tax exemption form on file for the customer in that different state.

To avoid paying sales tax on shipments going out of your state, you have 2 options:

  1.  Ship the order directly to your facility, and then you can ship it to your customer.

  2.  Provide DPS with your own created UPS label*

*If supplying your own UPS label, you will then put LABEL SUPPLY in every field on the order’s shipping address except for the city, state, and zip code, which will be your customer’s billing address.

We will only accept shipping labels from the following carriers:  US Post Office, UPS, and FedEx.
